| Home BLOGS ARCHIVES Corner of the Mind Home BLOGS ARCHIVES Thanks for visiting my Corner of the Mind. Friday January 16 was 13 weeks since the transplant. I’m still doing great. I haven’t posted in almost two months but it’s a new year (Happy 2015 everyone!) and a new me (well, at least a "newer" me, one with a functioning kidney). I’ve gained back about 20 pounds (new picture coming soon!) and am walking and doing some light exercise every day. I’m looking normal and healthy again. It’s been a long time since I felt this good. This blog started as a way to trace my journey through kidney failure and transplantation. Now it’s all about living post-transplant. Hopefully I’ll never have to document another transplant, at least not one for me. Thanks for reading and checking in with me. The holidays were fantastic - it’s so wonderful to be alive!
